How to add family member

Hey I was trying to add my son to gift some data but I can’t at all find how to add him to my phone and if someone could help me that could be really helpful thanks.

Gifting data is available to all phones that are on the same pay-monthly billing account, except No Frills plans.

Is your son on the same pay-monthly billing account as you? There should not be a need to "add him to your phone" if so.
