Providing that you are not currently in a fixed term contract, you should be able to upgrade by visiting https://ee.co.uk/app/upgrade-hub
Simply choose a sim-only plan with a lower data amount and complete the upgrade.
If you are in the middle of your contract then you won't be able to change your plan without paying an upgrade fee first.
