I was in London last week & got an alert arhat I had 2Gbs left. This was unusual as I barely use that much & my data allowance is 29GB. Bill usage for Feb, Mar & Apr was a max of 1.28 used of 29GB whilst May shows 27.61 Gb left of 29GB. This still should leave me with plenty so why the alert.

It seems like the text message may have been sent in error. If you would like to check this please give us a call on 150 and the team will get this looked into.

This could be a security check,
because of the different location of the signal.
This would enable the find my lost phone,
if requested. says me hun.

Was it a message from EE or just a notification triggered by your phone's data settings?

It wasn’t a text, the phone buzzed & it popped up. I’m happy that I still have data left so no worries. Just was puzzling.

It sounds like your phone has it's own data usage warning activated in its settings.
If you'd like to sync this up with your data refresh date and allowance, just let me know which phone you're using so I can help.
