Data Gifting

Evening all,

So we have just updated our sims, to save some money & cutting £17.00 a month of our bill.

So my sim is now an Essential SIM with 100GB & my wife's SIM is No Frills SIM, with 2GB Data allowance on it.

Suggested by the retention team, that I could upgrade my Sim and have 100 GB Data allowance, which I could data gift some of the 100gb to my wife's account.

I can't find anywhere in the "EE App" or online , to use "Family Usage" or gift data to my wife's SIM card .

Any clues

@JoeMc  provided all sims  are on the same account as you can not gift data across accounts

On the new my EE app there is no family usage tab.  

 Open the app and click “mobile plan ( it’s at the top

 then scroll down to data gifting

Click it and there you go choose who needs what

There is no data gifting with "No Frill" plans.

So an update, spoke to retention team this afternoon. They changed my wife's Sims account to an Essential SIM.

Just tested if I can gift, some date still no joy. So I updated the, the EE app on my iPhone.

Still no joy, the function is still not available. Even if I go online, no joy.

So I need someone fro the EE team to contact me please, I need this fixing. Or I'll cancel my account after 11 years with EE.

It's possible that the price plan change is still going through. Does it show the new Essential plan in your My EE account?

Are you able to gift the data on the My EE desktop website?
