I try to turn on my personal hotspot but it says i should “contact ee to active on this account” and i dont know what to do. My mobile data works abroad but hasnt worked in the uk for some time, any tips?

Are you a pay as you go or contract customer?
Do you have enough data?
If pay as you go, when did you last use your data, top up etc?

Sounds like the underlying issue is your lack of mobile data, and the hotspot issue is just a symptom. Go with the questions already posed, you can check your data allowance by texting BALANCE to 150

im having the same issue, did you find the cause/ a solution. i have 124 GB of data left but it isnt working and i have done a network reset. idk what to do.
