I signed up for a mobile and iphone 13 contract for £52 per month, I asked the seller if it was unlimited data he said yes, but an email came saying it was only 5G data

What does it say in your My EE account? I think it could be saying you have access to 5G data speeds.

Who was the seller?

Do you mean that it only has 5GB amount of data or that it can run over the 5G bands of the mobile network?
