So got a new honor tablet today with a SIM card. Got told there is no data on the sim plan but I'm ok as I can data gift well I can't. I don't even see the new mobile number on my account just get a message no products I can gift to.
Is this just because I've activated the SIM tonight? Will it show on my account tomorrow? Or have I been given incorrect info? It's a Paym 5g multi SIM
I'm so confused 🤦🏼♀️.

You stated you have a PayM data SIM, is the Monthly data SIM on the same billing account as our existing line?
You can only gift data between numbers that are on the same billing account.
If your data SIM is a PayM line, please give customer service a call on 150 from your mobile where the guide will be able to merge the accounts together.
However, if your tablet SIM is PayG as @Northerner mentioned, it won't be possible to gift to it.

You cannot gift data to PAYG Sims.

You'll need to buy data for your PAYG SIM.
