5G not working and can't turn off 5G

Hi,

My mobile data has been working fine up until a few weeks ago. It seems to work when 5G isn't available but not when it's on 5G.

My phone, Sim and plan cover 5G. So I have tried to turn off 5G but there is no option on my device. I have an Oppo Find X3 Neo.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Eldaman19  Device support and necessary band width for 5G on EE and should work. 

You should have preferred network type this is after selecting your sim. 

Swipe down on the Home Screen with 2 figures and select settings, press sim and mobile data, select your sim, preferred network type. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Not all SW versions can select the network mode, there is movement towards this being entirely automatic. Of more concern should be why mobile data is not working over NR-5G.

Is this only occurring in specific areas, or is it definitely a general issue? You should follow the faults reporting process here.
