Hi,
We have 5GEE router which is delivering around 10 - 40mbps. Unfortunately, we have a few blackspots in the house and wonder what would be the best solution. We've been looking at homeplug wifi extenders and extra routers set to extender mode. Has anyone faced this issue and sourced a reliable solution.
Any advice would be great
Paul

@Paul08 The best option is power lines that also have a wifi extender built in. They use your home wiring to put a wired network around your home then the other power line receives that signal and gives you a Wi-Fi connection, You can can these with pass through so you can plug sockets in to them also.
something like THIS or THIS or THIS this last one doesn’t have pass through so you’ll loose the usage power outlet also.

Hi Chris_B
Thanks for your suggestion to use a PowerLine adapter with WiFi, rather than just a WiFi extender. It's a better solution - and much cheaper!
I went for the 'TP-Link AV1000 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline ac Wi-Fi Kit' one and it works perfectly with the EE SMart Hub. Very easy to set up with WPS
