Hi I'm going on Canada and I'd like to take my mobile broadband 5gee device. It is a business device and I see from here that you offer a Business Daily passport.

Roaming | International Business Mobile Plans | EE Business

To enable it I need to text PASSPORT to 150. However, I'm unable to send a text from the 5gee device.

Can you advise what i should do

Thanks in advance

Most mobile routers do texts. Does it have an envelope LED showing on it?

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then look for the SMS section.

Thanks for your reply.

I have logged in but it only allows me to read messages and not send them.

Duh! It only has a cut-down SMS.

Hi @leblah,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Have you tried setting up the add-on in My EE?

James

Hi James,

Yes I tried that but no luck.

In My EE on the Addons page there are two addons already applied. 1 is called Wifi Coverage Boost and the second is £2 per day for EU roaming.

Under the section titled "get more addons" there are no other available options.

Thanks for checking @leblah

I'd recommend getting in touch with Business Support who'll be happy to setup the passport for you.
