Smart 4g Hub blocking some internet access

Hi

I have a Smart 4g Hub with a new SIM. I put the SIM in and it connected - the light is Aqua. When I connect over wifi from my phone I can browse the internet from Safari but not Chrome. I also have apps that don't work, namely an Ookla Speed Checker.

I swapped my SIM card with the one in my phone, and the wifi was still not connecting properly, whereas my phone was able to use internet without issue on data. This suggests to me it is the hardware that is at fault.

Are there any troubleshooting steps I can try to diagnose the issue?

Thanks

Hello @ChrisBristol

If you believe this is a hardware fault, I'd recommend giving us a call so our technical care team can help further.

Alternatively, a member of the community may be able to provide more information with troubleshooting.

It wasn't a hardware issue - it was the hub getting an IPv6 address rather than IPv4. Changed that in settings and it is fine.

How do I change this is settings on my iPhone? I have a similar problem. Thank you.

Hi @SkipO

Welcome to the community.

Can you give me a bit more information on your experience?

Is your iPhone linked to a Smart 4G Hub?
