Router phone number

I need to contact EE as my router keeps dropping out. WFH is being horrendous.

Every route I go down to talk to them requires me to have a mobile number with EE (my mobile phone is on Vodafone). The router phone number is not in the app or in any emails I’ve received. How on earth can I find out the phone number for my router?!?

Note: I do not want to take the sim out of the router and put it into my personal phone. Takes a year for me to take my mobile out it’s case (and then I have nothing that works with internet).

So I gave in and checked: actually the sim is incompatible with all phones I possess. The connection on my 4gee router 2021 is being extremely unreliable and kicking us off / not loading webpages (including the EE website!). Help!

Based in Northampton. The 4gee router 2021 started to play up about a month ago. 

firstly stopped playing video websites like Disney plus, Amazon video. It has now developed onto just stopping loading various pages of its choosing (including the EE website across multiple laptops). I can do speed tests and they vary between 0-40. It never used to drop off like this, so something is definitely wrong!

I cannot test the speed in a mobile phone as the sim is incompatible size. I cannot call EE because I do not know the phone number for the router (?!?!?!? Terrible, terrible phone service that a phone number is required as my mobile phone is with Vodafone - thankfully as I cannot trust this router). 

I have obviously reset the router multiple times by this point, taken out the sim, reset device. Can anyone help?

EE can you contact me? I can’t find the phone number for this router in my email or in the app/website so I’m stumped at how I can get support ASAP!!!

@Gemmadruce : For your router's mobile no. either:

  1. Look at top of http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see data & credit status.
  2. If it is able to send texts, text NUMBER to 150.
  3. Look in its System Settings for its MSISDN

Hey! I haven’t seen any problems that would affect. I did manage to get through to someone and they have reset our settings so going to test for a few days!
