If you go on Amazon eBay or if preferred Argos, type portable SIM WiFi dongle or SIM card WiFi stick you'll see a broad range to choose from. As long as you make sure SIM is typed in the search, because some don't come with SIM and provide WiFi on subscription
Get a stick if you'll be travelling and using it and also check it comes with firewall protection and wpa2 password protected if using in public spaces.
If using only at home then it's a whole bunch of options and it was a total minefield when I looked into getting SIM card WiFi dongle
There's some amazing WiFi hubs you plug in and stick your SIM card into that. And the whole house can connect to the hub. But I do believe some of the higher priced hubs for SIM card WiFi need quite a bit of technology know how..

If I didn't know what WPA meant I had to Google it and then go back to Amazon only to find another terminology I don't know.. then I thought maybe a hub instead
Some of the hubs look more like UFO crafts or high tech drones and nine weeks of searching and I got a phone call from EE
They noticed I had been buying a lot of credit vouchers and want to offer me a SIM only plan instead of wasting money
And would I believe it when they said you can also have a broadband router setup for half price
So at least those nine weeks weren't a total waste of time and glad to be able to make someone else's life far easier
Just the irony of buying so much credit occurred for the dongle quest
Oh and PS the reason I said if preferred buy it from Argos is because I m part of an NFT community that helps those with talent succeed and our community founder advised me that the risk buying from eBay or Amazon is security
He's from America and it's known that hackers had been buying hubs and dongles and however it's done they place phishing bugs and once you plug in they get in your system by the backdoor and that's because Amazon resell returns disregarding security protocols and manufacturers don't have any responsibility in compensation and good luck trying Amazon
Just putting it out there because it's the people who are not tech-savvy who mostly become the victim
I will confirm I've personally had no issues with digital equipment from Amazon btw.. I bought an awesome laptop made by a little known Chinese company and for 189 GBP reduced from 899 sounds too good to be true. It came fully sealed and gives the MacBook pro competition i also bought a teclas tablet at an unbelievable price same again fully sealed and wipes the floor with so many pricier brands jfyi
