Mobile signal booster

Hi

we live only a quarter of a mile from our ee mast but there are many trees in between so signal strength at our homehub is very dependant on weather, leaves on trees etc.  it varies between minus 95 and minus 115.

most of the time this is OK for SD TV and internet but we have just bought a 4k tv and we get some buffering.

what is the best way to increase the signal received from the mast?  Will adding lte "ears" to the homehub help? If so is there a standard lte aerial suitable for homehub?

Are external aerials a better option? If so what is recommended?

cheers

john

@weimarana  Do you a port on the hub to actually connect an external and internal ?      Can you post a picture of the hub ?  Front and back

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Hi
It is a BT Homehub ( on a EE contract, which is confusing).
It has a USB and two LTE screw in ports on the back.
Photos attached.
Cheers
John
