Lost sim

Hi I lost my sim card then through EE I got another one when I tried to activate it it says : We have sent a 6 digit code to your number( the number that I cannot access because it is lost) . Please help me because I desperately need my SIM but cannot get hold of EE without a phone. I have tried to call them through friend’s phone but it is like 30-40 minutes and still busy line. 
what do I do?

@langfordpepi  You call customer services and wait till they can get to you. 

if you had reported your old sim lost they would of blocked that sim and sent you a replacement on request and you wouldn’t be sent a cost to the number to activate it. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Welcome to the community,

When you received the new SIM card, you should have received a letter with the 6 digit code on it. If you take the SIM card out, you should find the IMEI on it also.

They are busy, due to the new Apple products having come out.
