Login to 4GEE Mini via iPad

I've just purchased a 4GEE Mini and I can login via my Samsung Note9 phone. However, using the same credentials, I can't login via my iPad.* The only way I can get the benefit of 4GEE connectivity on my iPad is via my Note9. I have to set up a Hotspot (Mobile Access Point) and use that instead.

*It's a 6th gen iPad on iOS 15.6.1 - Why can't I connect directly to the 4GEE Mini?

Yes, every time!

It could be worth backing everything up on the iPad and restoring it to factory settings, @DrEcosse.

On your Apple / iOS Device(s) with the WiFi Settings Page is there a "Configure IPV4 and or Configure IPV6" if so configure the IPV6 Settings to Local or Local Host or something simular (Drop Down List).

Or better still go into the Admin Setting of the Router and Check and Change any IPV4 or 6 settings to IPV4 Only.

Also you mentioned you got this from BT?, is the Sim in the Router BT or EE?, also is the Mini Router Branded BT or EE, if theres a mix of Sims/Router Brands you may want to check the APN Settings are correct for the Branded Sim you are using as this could also have an impact on the Internet Access Gateways and IPV Security (ie EE APN is everywhere, BT sometimes use btmobile.bt.com).

Hi @Christopher_G

Thanks for responding. It's not my iPad that's the problem, as every device (iOS, MacOS, PC), other than my Note9, present the same invalid password message.

Hi @DrEcosse,

Have you ever changed your WiFi password? I just want to rule out the saved password on your Note being different to the one you're trying to enter on other devices.

James

It is IPV4, although an IPV6 address is showing. There isn't an option to turn it off that I can see. The router is EE branded, as BT pass over any mobile-related tech to EE, since it's their infrastructure.

No @James_B, I haven't changed anything, as I wanted to get it working with the default settings first. I will change them once that's been achieved successfully with an iPad connected directly, without needing to use a mobile hotspot via my Samsung Note9.

I need technical support directly from EE, so what's the best ASAP method and contact details for that?
