How to add Wi-Fi account on ee app

Ridler86

I have a 4g Wi-Fi at home, I have created an account on the ee app but it is asking me for my account number to add wifi to my account. I have not received any emails or letters with this account number on. How do I find out what my account number is please as I cannot get through to customer services when I try calling.

many thanks

Sam

Are you thinking that "Add Home BB" would be for adding your mobile router to your a/c (only Home BB would be asking you for an A/c no.)?

If so, it isn't! That's only for adding fixed Home BB over landline or Full Fibre (FTTP). Your mobile router runs over the mobile network & has a SIM & a mobile no. It's just another mobile like a mobile phone. You should just be adding a Mobile Device.

Hi, I have the same issue-trying to add 4g mini WiFi to the app, to monitor how much data I have, but if you add it as a mobile, you are then asked for the four digits they send in a text that is sent to the mobile number you have given, unfortunately that number is for the sim and not a mobile, so, the 4 digit pass code is not received.

@Mick124 : Most mobile routers are able to receive texts. Look for the SMS section in it.
