Still says service problem in TN29, been like that for a month

I'd recommend using the "keep me posted" link for updates - it's possible there's an underlying problem here that is taking longer to properly rectify.

Done that, get emails saying its taking longer than expected - any chance you can find out what is actually going on and the likely date to be fixed?

All network faults are rectified as quickly as possible, if you want further info you can call EE C/S on 150 and they may be able to look at the fault ticket.
It's quite likely that 95% of the updates on the ticket will be of no interest to 95% of customers, though!
