Hi
I have recently got a EE 5G Wifi mobile router as i live in a rural area and wired connections are unsuitable. Is there a way to extend the range of the router as it does not reach across my whole house? In the past i have used TP links but the new device does not have an ethernet slot. Do i need another version of TP link, an official extender or another router?
Thanks

Hi @SamBalmer
Have you tried moving it. I see what you mean there are no ports and this is a basic router.
Thanks

Hi
Yes i have moved it halfway through my house. The tv on one end does not receive it and my office PC only gets 3MBS.
My house is a converted farm building and mostly a bungalow so it has a large footprint. Im just concerned as i have a baby due and the router will not pick up a baby monitor where i need it.
Thanks

The EE Smart 5G Hub may have been more suitable as it has 2 Ethernet ports. If you ordered it online or by phone & received it in the last 14 days you could invoke your statutory cooling-off period & return it for a refund.

Thank you both,
I have spoken to EE and they are sending me a Smart Hub.
I will need extenders such as TP links to bounce the signal round my house.
I do own some but not sure what model they are.
Your advise is very much appreciated.
