Being charged for Smart wifi when cancelled ages ago

Only took this out as a temporary measure and cancelled it ages ago but just saw that I am being charged every month over 11 pounds when I was sure it was cancelled and I haven't used it as I cancelled it. What can I do?

How did you cancel it? Did you actually call CS & give notice or did you assume it auto ends when its min period is up. It doesn't!

I rang them and also thought by doing that I had cancelledit ahead of automatic cancellation when the minimum period is up as I explained my circumstances and they agreed to cancel it. 

If you properly cancelled by phone you need to query it with CS now.
