@2Bodders : MyEE doesn't work for registering PAYG MBB devices or at least those with data SIMs. It stops at telling you to connect your device & login to it, but when you've done as instructed it doesn't have anywhere for you to say you've done it.

You may continue using your device but you just can't register it to MyEE.

  1. Use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no.
  2. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from the device will tell you your usage.
  3. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from the device to buy add-ons.

These should still work.

I cant use fast top up as it asks me to link to the phone number which I cannot do and I cannot use either of the other links as it says the only way I can do it is by disconnecting from Wi-Fi and it’ll pick it up.. which as I explained is no good to me as it’s the 4gee I want to to up not my phone

All SIMs have a mobile no. The no. it's asking for is the mobile no. of your SIM. You can see that by going to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi.

Eh? That's not Fast Top-up; that's an Add-on page.

Let's take this 1 step at a time. I'm sure we can sort this out between us.

1st of all, what device are you doing that on & what is it connected to at the time & how?

The system is flawed. I'm in the same position. You have to connect to the device to link the number to your account but when you connect you lose your Internet connection because your data has run out. I spent an hour on chat then 20 mins on a call to try topping up, no success. It's time ee thought about making it easier to pay them money, perhaps by empyoying someone who knows about customer experience.

@Tired1 ; You don't need a Net connection or data to link the no. to your a/c. It's all done within EE's own network.
