EE 4GEE mini payg top-up solved.

First register or log in, if already registered, to ee using internet browser, NOT myee app.

Next in the search line type:

add-on.ee.co.uk/status.

You must be connected to the internet using your 4GEE mini.

This will open a page showing your remaining balance. Your sim number will be at the top of this page.

You will be given an option to top up this number.

Next time you open  add-on.ee.co.uk/status, you will see your top up had been added.

You can then purchase data from this balance.

MyEE doesn't work for registering PAYG MBB devices or at least those with data SIMs. It stops at telling you to connect your device & login to it, but when you've done as instructed it doesn't have anywhere for you to say you've done it.

You may continue using your device but you just can't register it to MyEE.

  1. Use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no.
  2. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from the device will tell you your usage.
  3. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from the device to buy add-ons.

These should still work.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I noticed that you say that You can’t register the device on MyEE. I was however able to set up a myee account using the 4GEE’s sim number. I am then told that myee notes that I am using a mobile internet device.

The advantage of setting up the account is that you can then join community forums to get support.

Its interesting to know however that you can access the web page: add-on.re.co.uk/status without first setting up an account. This makes the process even simpler.

I wish EE had included these instructions with the device and advised that he the myee app doesn’t work with it. I wasted hours trying to find a solution.

Yes, I understand you can sometimes register a PAYG data SIM to MyEE but I've never managed it.

You may always join this Community with a MyEE not holding any devices. In fact, that's how I get here.
