I'd like to extend the time before an unanswered call goes to the message service.

I gather there is a special number to call but I can't find what it is.

Yes - dial **61*+447953222222**xx# where xx is anything between 5 & 25 seconds in multiples of 5 - how long you want the phone to ring before diverting.

It's for a mobile. My wife's phone goes to message before she gets a chance to answer sometimes.

Google led me to believe that there is a special code you can dial to specify how many seconds to ring before diverting to the message service.
