Today I received a message to say
EE are moving me to a 30 day rolling SIM
50 Gb data ( I only use 2 Gb out of my 20 Gb a month)
New monthly price of £21 presently £16.
I look at options and guess what, is this or leave
So much for 30 years T mobile/ EE Loyalty
I refuse to be treated like this.
Bye bye

Hi @elgammanero
If you're outside of your contract term then in accordance with EE T&C they can move you by giving 30 days notice. The same as most carriers to move people off legacy plans.
Try speaking with EE on 150 about what they can offer.
Thanks

Thank you, I did not know that was standard practice. Obviously companies are not keen on legacy customers,

If you wish to move to PAYG, cancelling your contract and maintaining the same number, you should contact EE Customer Services on 150.
They could discuss contract offers with you on the line, but ultimately if you still want to go to PAYG they can set this up with the required 30 days notice.

Thanks, not sure what I want to do yet,
I liked having included Roaming, unlimited
calls & text etc.
I know it's petty but I don't like being told what
to do.,
Had a similar confrontation with Lloyds last week
so I closed a 47 year old account.

WARNING possible Spammer
Just received several emails from Irene claiming to be EE support requesting a callback number.
Fortunately they went to a dummy account.

Thanks for flagging this to us @elgammanero
We'd not send you any emails directly. If we were sending you a message through the community, it would be to your community inbox.
Can you forward the email to phishing@ee.co.uk so it can be looked into?
