How to connect my 5G router to my Canon MG5350 pronter

Hi. My printer is quite old but it connected to my old router. However now I have no phone line I have a 5G router. When setting up it recognises my router but pressing the WPS button as per instructions results in a time out message and no connection . There doesn’t seem to be a standard Ethernet port on the printer so I can’t connect that way either. One option is to enter a pin which is generated by the printer but I can’t find out how to communicate this to the router

Hi @Positiveasset 

You'll need to go into the router settings and see if there a comparability mode, this will allow you to use the WPS button.

What printer model/manufacturer do you own.
