XBOX Double NAT Issue

Hi

I Have a EE Smart Hub and I have a TP LINK AX5400 connected to it which I connect everything through. My wireless is off on the EE hub as I don't use it as it wasn't strong enough of the whole house. Issue is now I can't join any XBOX Party chats as it keeps giving me a double NAT issues.

Is there a way to fix this issue or get around it ask really don't want my XBOX being connected directly to my EE Hub as I do use a VPN on it to join US gaming servers.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks 🙂

By wiring those 2 routers the way you have you have created a double NAT, 1 for the EE SH followed by the 1 for the TP-Link.

You can overcome it by connecting the xBox directly to the EE SH.

Hi @KiloBravoV1

Put the TP link router into bridge mode.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply @Northerner  :). Any ideas how I do that? or is it easy to find on YouTube

I think it should be Access Point (AP) mode.
