I’m not a BT or EE customer. Via the Microsoft site I activated a gift card code for Xbox game pass ultimate that has set up a subscription that says ‘Purchased from BT/EE’. I have no way to cancel this subscription as I assume it’s now linked to someone else’s BT/EE account.
How do I get this rectified? There is no way to cancel it via Microsoft/Xbox.

Hi @r679
Thanks for coming to the community.
It sounds like you have purchased a subscription that is being billed to someone's EE/BT account, and only the EE/BT account holder will be able to manage the subscription.
Please contact the reseller for support.
Leanne.

Thank you for your reply Leanne.
The code was a present so I don’t know where it was bought from.
Even if I could contact the seller how would they know who the code belongs to? Surely EE can use the code (I can provide it when needed) to look at whose account it’s associated with and stop the subscription from being billed (after performing any relevant checks)?

EE can't & won't release any info about 1 of its users to a 3rd party like you nor carry out any massaging of their a/c on your say so. Their info is Private & Confidential! The seller likewise cannot have access to this info.

Thanks. I'm not after anyone's details. From my standpoint something has gone wrong and it sounds like an unsuspecting EE/BT customer is now being billed incorrectly. All I'm after is to report this to EE/BT so they themselves can take action to correct this.
I'm unsure that there is anything further I can do here. If anyone from EE/BT would like any further information please reply on this thread.
