Ping spikes

I have recently just got a brand new EE wifi router and throughout the day it seems to function perfectly with mobile devices and computers, however with my xbox it is completely unusable at this point as when playing online games I am seeing ping spikes of up to 1700+ every 10 seconds. 

I am unable to use ethernet as my router requires a phone line, and there is no issue with fibre as it has recently been installed so I really want to get to the bottom of the issue.

Hi @cringo1878 

Are you using any WIFI extender discs or powerline adapters? 
If you're able to get a hold of a long ethernet cable, or briefly move the Xbox, it may be worth testing your Xbox with ethernet temporarily, this will help determine if it's a WIFI issue.
