Im now at my wits end with the useless live chat support and have decided to turn to the forum. I ordered a ps5 on the 26th after being informed my delivery would take 24hrs to be picked and packed. I was told on the phone over 2000 were in stock ready. Waited 24 hours, was told to wait for saturday for my order to be picked. After going through rude agents and supervisors, each giving different stories, i was told 100 were in stock and it would be picked ready and was told monday delivery was guaranteed. I had my doubts. Ive spoke to live chat AGAIN today, and have been told 70 is in stock, my order will somehow be picked, packed, given to dpd and guaranteed to be delivered tommorow. Im at my wits end with the lies now and just need some sort of clue. As an employee i know that this shouldnt be happening to customers, the situation with PS5 orders are ridiculous. The bundle has been on the store available for order all day today, so if its out of stock, stop taking orders...

Maybe you don't know that these are in high demand still today. If your delivery is due tomorrow DPD will text and email you with a time tomorrow.

Can we agree that EEs website is claiming they are in stock please @Northerner? Could you just confirm that? I also have several screenshots of the live chat contradicting themselves.

EE will only order from Sony consoles they are selling (hence you can order them) not thousands to store in a wearhouse.
The issue is Sony manufacturing and delivered them once ordered.

Then they arent available? Carla in the call center told me 2100 were in the warehouse available and is emailing me pretty much daily with updates contradicting everything live chat is telling me.

I have also had the same issue, told it would be today or tomorrow but I still haven’t had any more communication regarding this. Communication isn’t a hard thing we do this everyday but when it regards money everything takes so much more time. Can we please have a update regarding this

This is a public forum, not customer service, so you will just have to wait to hear from DPD when delivery will be. You will hear the evening before delivery and on the day of delivery with a one hour delivery window, otherwise I suggest you ring customer service rather than live chat, if you need more information about your delivery.

It seems like a really poor system, They told me to cancel it this morning despite saying it was a first come first serve, just out curiosity did you go for the charging dock bundle too @Moonie92?

Hi, I went for the one with the extra controller, you cancelled your order? Why did you do that? I know it’s a poor system but you might have been lucky?
