Lenovo legion go steam specs question

Hi. I have just ordered Lenovo Legion go steam 24 month bundle with data pass only. In the specs sheet it is saying it comes with Z1 extreme chipset 16gb ram 1tb HD. I have contacted EE rep on Facebook and they confirmed it is z1 extreme chip. My confusion is that it also says in spec sheet that it comes with windows 11 but it is supposed to be a steam version. It also says it comes with carry bag and controllers stand ( only the older legion go came with it). When checking Lenovo website there is no such a spec of steam versions. Z1e only comes with 32gb ram not 16gb. Now I'm worried I will receive the older version or even worst the z go chipset. Tried to speak to someone on EE chat but I'm waiting for reply already few hours so I guess they will not respond at the end. I guess I will wait for it to come and hope specs are written on the box so I can return if incorrect. What do you guys think?

Hey there @Darius1212.

Thanks for flagging this 😊

So we can get this checked out, could you please share a link to the exact offer that you went for here?

Peter

Hi Peter. Did you managed to have a look at it? I have managed to contact EE via chat but they were unable to confirm the specs over the chat as they said they can see exactly what I can so they weren't sure as to why it has specs from legion go. I guess the only way to find out is to wait for it to be delivered and see what is it and return it if it is not z1 extreme chip. Unless you managed to find out more? All the best

@Darius1212  I've been checking the specs listed here, and this does seem strange, as all of the specs listed seem to match that of the original Legion Go rather than the Go S.

There are even mentions of detachable controllers etc, which the newer model does not feature, and the original was Windows only rather than the Steam option.

Is it the Go S that you were expecting here?

I only purchased this one as I wanted z1 extreme chipset inside. I don't really know what will arrive now. As looking at the web for 610 pounds total if it is the ryzen z2 chip it should come with 32gb ram but I really wanted extreme chip which I'm guessing I will not get. I'm guessing that the Facebook rep just read the specs like me and confirmed what was written there

I can't really cancel now as I tried online and it doesn't give me this option. I just wait until it comes and hopefully the box will have all the specs on it and will return if not z1 which is very likely I'm guessing 😞

Is the return process fairly straightforward?

I got confused as the photo shows go s and clearly states that it is a steam version.
