Laptop advice (Poss RAM) maybe something else

I purchased an ACER Nitro from EE on a 24 month add to plan. When it arrived everything looked ok, but it wouldn't switch on. Initial power on/off. I assumed it was down to needing Charge. So I have charged it and still nothing. So I have asked a friend and he  said missing RAM and I should be able to look through the Grate on the Bottom and see the RAM. I can see some clips that look like RAM Slots but no RAM.  But surely it would have RAM. There is no rattling

So looking for advice (I am waiting for returns. but if I can spot an obvious issue I would like to get to use it.)
1. Can RAM in these unseat and slide somewhere?

2. Has anyone had a Laptop with no RAM from EE before?

3. IF it is NO Ram, would the Laptop Power up into BIOS?

4. With no obvious signs, what should I be looking for to see if this has been sent to another customer or tampered with?

5, What other reason could it be, Its been on Charge a good few hours, can't test the Hard Drive as it doesn't power on and I would assume if it was faulty Battery, it would still power on with the Power cord in.

The guy on the phone has got me worried as he said they  could reject the return, which means a Laptop with use for a Monthly fee. Yes I stress to much and over think things, butlike I said if I could find something obvious I am missing  and could get it working its better than no Laptop as they out of Stock.

Laptop is Acer Nitro V15 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop 24 month bundle with an Acer Nitro Gaming Controller and more

Thanks for Reading and any help in advance.

Hi @footballcrazyp_

This is very unusual and as this is clipped in and normal has a screwed on cover. I can only think one of the following must have happened.

  • Someone has interfered with it.
  • This is not new but a returned/refurbished unit which was not inspected.
  • You have buyers remorse and this is not genuine but an excuse to return.
  • The box was kicked about by the delivery firm which dislodged the ram and the cover.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you for your Reply, even if it didn't answer anything.
1, How can you tell if interfered with? Because its a Full solid back with many screws, its not got compartments like my older Windows 8, where you can access the Ram and Hard Drive. So its not a 1 Screw job and I suspect there will be clips and cables along the base of the Laptop.

2.I purchased new there is no listing for refurbished, so I don't see how that could happen

3. I want to fix the Laptop, hence asking advice as I want to do some Gaming. No Buyers remorse, I want the Laptop, but out of Stock so will have to pay more for the upgraded version.

4. The Cover is not Dislodged and as I said its only been looked at through the Fan Grill/Grate, where you can see what looks like to be RAM Slots. Without knowing the Inside I can't tell if they are, Hence asking on here. But I am guessing your saying the Ram can come dislodged? but with NO rattling, where would the Ram move to?

And to make it clear apart from a little part on the OUTER box, There is Zero damage to  the inner boxes so I wouldn't be obviously looking at the courier. In fact the Courier (from DPD) was very careful, polite, placed it in my doorway carefully for the photo.

Back to my original questions, would the Laptop go into Bios without Ram, like a PC would?

I would prefer helpful answers, rather than accusations. If it was Buyers remorse, I have 14 days to just return it and say No thanks. I am trying to get it working to use,
