If I choose GamePass as an extra will that cancel my existing GamePass sub.?

If I choose Netflix as a Smart Benefit, I don't need to worry about cancelling my existing Netflix subscription - the payment on my ee bill will just smoothly take over from my existing payment. That sounds good to me.

If I choose GamePass Ultimate as an added extra, will the same principle apply? (That is, will the payment on my ee bill just smoothly take over and leave my existing subscription/profile/gamerscore etc. undamaged?)

Yes, as long as you use the same Microsoft account, it will be a seamless switch over.
