Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Mine arrived yesterday morning, ordered the 2 controller bundle on the 3rd. amazing performance if you ask me, now I'm going to play astro's playroom its the best game on ps5 🙂

Just been on live chat myself. Mainly because I’m impatient and I’ve only waited a week. Looks like after that chat it will be longer 🙄

 

ordered ps+ bundle on the 3rd. Received confirmation email, order number ect... Monday I got my processed email and on track for delivery before the 15th. Perfect. 
spoke to lady and said my order is all good no problems her end. 

Then spoke to live chat this morning and said my order was out of stock. My order was only a pre order. I had no knowledge of this. I got a reminder txt on the 3rd to say new stock in. I got my order number so thought I would have one allocated. NOPE!! She said it was in stock when I ordered but now out of stock. 

Said it would be dispatched on the 15th or after but then later said she couldn’t give me a date. So I’ve been told to just wait for the email. Pretty sure this will be after Xmas now.

 

awful communication from EE. 

 

Got my DPD notification this morning ps plus bundle! It’s been a long emotional ride still won’t believe until I receive it to be honest.

 

I ordered 19th 8.17. Got the add to plan text today. Delivery for tomorrow.

 

keep faith guys as I genuinely lost sleep over this! Haha what a forum!! 🤟🏻

@Br15 @Don’t pay to much attention to live chat as I don’t think they really know what’s going on or what to say, if that was really the case then people who ordered the controller bundle on the 3rd wouldn’t have received theirs. An EE advisor on Twitter and an EE representative in this forum have all said that they are on track to deliver all PS5s by the 15th December, they are currently doing full bundles ordered on the 19th and then it will be full bundles from the 3rd.

@JChinery7 that would make sense, since my controller bundle arrived yesterday maybe there moving to the psplus bundles now

Nope... I'm still waiting and I never ordered the full bundle. Had no communication at all also..

 

So personally I don't think I will have by 15th at all.. mine has not even been picked yet..

 

So I have no faith whats so ever... whats worse is that they monitor the forum and no people are stressing but nobody contacts you to reassure or update you.  Terrible..

 

So may just break to my son today that he may not have this for Xmas now... 😪

Anyone else with a console and extra controller, ordered on the 3rd? bundle still waiting for a tracking number?  I've got an order number and £10 taken but nothing else, Im presuming they're shipping out the ps plus bundles from the 19th now and will then finish sending the rest of the orders from the 3rd.

@Charlesp94 Yes, I am in the exact same situation as you. 4 days left yet, should be fine.
