**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Find out more about Add To Plan >

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Are you excited about getting your hands on one?

Will do mate, I got a xo code and an order confirmation. As someone said on the thread hoping for the best preparing for the worst. Wish It had been more clear or simply just denied my access as I’m sim only so I could have tried other sites as my friends did successfully.

I don’t understand though why they let u got through all the process to getting a ps5 and now telling us u might not be able to get one I’ll just have to see what email I get in the next couple of days

Honestly don't know why people are loosing it lol

I've oreded 2 other things on ee add to plan (switches)

Both times had the email like today then another email the following day with dispatch details etc.

Must just be how there ordering system works.

If people had used the add on system before maybe they would know.

And if mine does get cancled at least I got a chance (unlike most other sites)

Relax you'll all get your playstations.

If I don't get an update by weekend, I'll join in and get the pitchfork out too.

Honestly hope they dont do that to us sim only customers. I literally had a ps4 on basket ready to check out from asda but didn't do it as I thought I had it confirmed from EE and didn't want to buy 2 when others are struggling to get even 1.

Nowhere on the site or when we were trying to add the ps5, did it say you can't do it if u have sim only deal. Infact I even called to confirm my order was on the system and the ee rep spoke to the digital team who could see the order. surely the system should reject it instantly?

It says under terms and conditions of add to plan

but I agree it shouldn’t have let SIM only customers do it to begin with, as it’s unfair to you.

I quote...

Add to Plan Accessory Agreement
Under this agreement EE will supply you with fixed sum credit for the purchase of an accessory (“Accessory”) on the basis that you’re a Pay Monthly customer. You can add up to 3 Add to Plan accessories within the first 17 months of your 24 Pay Monthly plan. This is not available on SIM Only .

@AdzbwDid you get anything the day before AT ALL? I got a text from EE earlier saying to download the DPD app and that I will recieve delivery information the day before dispatch buy they were very sparse with detail.

@astonavfc no nothing apart from the 'About your order' email! Didn't get anything else until it was despatched.

@Jules1270 I agree when it comes to Sim Only customers.

In my opinion, I am on a 24 months SIm Only contract I just renewed today after my PS5 order. In my personal opinion, Sim Only customers who are linked to a contract should not be refused an order as we are effectively Pay Monthly customers.

Also when I upgraded my contract I was advised that it would not affect my PS5 order, I would be quite annoyed as I only decided to renew and upgrade as I also got a PS5, otherwise, I would have potentially moved to another provider.
