**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Find out more about Add To Plan >

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

this was some of my conversation that I had with an advisor today

Dhairya:

order has reached the warehouse, but your device is yet to be picked.

Dhairya:

order is in progress, we are currently working to allocate your device and once we have done this and the device is ready to ship we will update you via SMS with your delivery details.

Chloe Walsh: Yes, I understand that I’ll get them on the 15th dec
Dhairya:

order is in a queue and will be processed as soon as stock availability becomes available.

Yes on or before 15th December

Chloe Walsh: Lovely thank you

As long as I get it before Christmas I’m not fussed, I’m lucky that I’ve been given one!

DPD tracking numbers that I've had in the past are all 1550XXXXXXXXXXX, if they've given you a number that matches that then I'd guess they assign a tracking number when the order is processed but it won't actually work until DPD receive the parcel

@cdaws2001

I am not getting my hopes up. But thinking back to their post on twitter where they advised they was taking orders, They also followed up with ,whew that was fast all stock is now gone.

That does suggest either they had stock or had a garenteed delivery number.

At this point I'd say we all need to chill though. The more we call the less staff they have to get on with processing orders etc.

@Atomicdj agree with you mate just now ive been told twice about tomorrow delivery im intrigued as to how true it is 3 times ive been informed tomorrow, just want to help people and let them know the case, ive spoke to a really honest guy last and he told me tomorrow and his also stated that cs advisors dont have access to stockl report numbers so for all we know they could have stock all this time its just been the case of them processing orders?

I am not bothered so long as I definitely get mine before Christmas BUT I do think it's a little shady and deceitful to say "in stock" when in reality it was "allocating future stock".

My wife's friend was lucky enough to get one from Amazon and it was delivered before midday on Friday. It was in stock and, therefore, they got the item the following day.

Little bit annoying to say the least but I do appreciate it could be worse (looking at you Currys!)

Amazon let me add it to the basket and then said no stock. Same happened with John Lewis multiple times. It was a stressful time haha.
As long as I get it by Xmas eve I’ll be over the moon. I just want that definitive yes or no. I can’t bare the mixed information they seem to be giving. Must be stressful for the EE staff tho, especially if they haven’t been informed correctly, or at all.
🤞🏼 For us all!

One thing they have been (mostly) consistent on is that we'll have them by the 15th

I agree it would've been better if they were said that they didn't actually have the consoles in stock but were allocating future stock but they've definitely handled it better than some retailers

i just want to add that i believe they do indeed have the stock. what ive seen tonight is that not a single CS advisor has access to stock levels and all there instinct tell them to say is, we dont have the stock. for the simple fact is the item is listed as out of stock this is all they know they dont know there could be thousands of consoles waiting for us in the warehouse as we speak who knows?
