**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

im currently talking to a supervisor who has informed me my delivery date is somehow tomorrow, im unsure wether to believe it but im getting more info out as we speak, i can confirm ive been provided with a tracking number so far and she has told me they do indeed have stock now 🙂

Basically an EE representative saying no one is getting a ps5 this week and once they get stock anyone who has been processed will be prioritized

I had we call me earlier because they wanted me to buy a switch on add on.

 

I snuck in about my ps5 . And she said stock end of next week for next batch bit easier now as we all been allocated stock - just need it to wait.

 

Its just a matter of time now

ive tracked it on ee and it says "This order type is unavailable for tracking at the moment"

ive now then tracked on dpd but it now says "oops somethings gone wrong"

 

also now the advisor im speaking to has now said they dont have stock after telling me they did and that it wont be delivered tomorrow, but all orders were meant to be tomorrow but sony has yet to send the consoles. to be honest i dont think anyone has a clue

, but i am intrugued where she got my tracking number from 😕

An update on my story so far as a SIM only customer.

 

Ordered PS5 +Extra controller at 9:57 am with screenshot of xko number and received original ‘Your order’ email. On Saturday at 10:42 am I received and email saying I needed to give them a call for further information on the 0800 number. I was told by the advisor I was not eligible because I am a SIM only customer (24 month contract at £25 per month for 200 GB of data including Apple Music). I was  then told if I upgraded they would be able to process the existing order. I could do this online and opted for the cheapest option which was a Samsung Galaxy A21S with 40 GB of data and Apple Music for £34 a month. I used a 20% off student discount code which brought the contract down to £27.20 a month which is only £2.20 more than my current plan albeit at a loss of data. I should note the 40gb is still more than sufficient for me. The phone I am receiving is worth around £150 which I plan on selling and putting towards my PS5. I completed the order on Saturday night and called to confirm. I was told that this was all correct and that they could progress the order when the phone arrived.

 

I chanced my arm today and called to see if they would put the order through given 24hrs had passed since I ordered and was told that they can’t progress until the phone is marked as delivered. The advisory was happy to process the £10 card payment and told me to call as soon as it arrives tomorrow.

 

Im still not 100% sure but I feel far more confident as an initial sim only customer that I will receive a PS5 before Christmas!

so im just gonna go to a different advisor but what i was told by the current one is that they has 2900 consoles live on the site as of launch these sold out in 2 hours between 8 - 10 if you ordered between then you will get your console in 3 days but ill be honest take it as a pinch of salt as i was told mines coming tomorrow
