**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

A sim only customer, order placed about 8:23 yesterday. Reached through the 0800 number and was told if I don't have an order number that means my order wasnt properly picked up by the system and would have to join the 'register my interest' queue. 

I didn't venture forth with all the knowledge I have from this forum about eligibility conditions. 

At the end I hung up after getting a promise of a manager calling back within an hour. Meanwhile, looking up all my discount options and if I want to do an upgrade to iphone 12 pro. I'm not even a gamer per se ! 

Iv just come off the phone. He told me I do have an active order but it’s showing as an “open order” meaning Iv been accepted and allocated a ps5 but they haven’t got it in stock yet, as soon as they do il be sent one hence the “open order status” I didn’t get a winging its way just a email saying I will receive it by 15th dec. they have took the £10 also. I ordered 8:40 yesterday immediately received the about your order email. 11:11 today got 5 emails saying it will be with me by 15th. It was the ps5 with the extra pad

Others in this forum have upgraded their phones after ordering a PS5 and the Customer Service reps have just moved the PS5 order to the phone and processed it there and then.

 

That should be a good option for you.

I ordered at 0824 had a few emails but still no £10 taken, fobbed off by two advisors earlier today. I'm pretty disgusted at the fact that these haven't been done in order and ordering late on appear today be getting further along than myself who ordered early doors. I'm in no rush to get one but at least do it fairly and give us some reassurance.

Did anyone order 2 PS5s on to that add on plan?? Cause I did & I've had an email just now with my order number and saying I will get my PS before 15th December & £10 is now pending. Would i get another email for the 2nd one as I did not do them both together or would that order number I got be for both?

Is there a way of viewing products on DPD without a delivery code?

Phew! Spoke to Chelsea on the 0800 number and she was so helpful!  I was on a sim only plan, but I upgraded to a device plan this morning.  She gave me my xko number on the phone, said I need to call back tomorrow once I've received my phone, as I'm still show as Sim only on my account.  I definitely have one though - that's all I wanted to know!

 

If you can, ask for Chelsea! 🙂

If you download the DPD app and register. It goes by your number and email address and will show any orders.
