Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Same, went live chat they have given me a new order number??? Why unsure but guessing they are bumping 3rd off for the 19th which is acceptable but now can't guarantee Xmas delievery

See this is the exact same I was told

I ordered the controller bundle last Thursday. Confirmed email for before the 15th delivery now this 

I ordered on the 3rd, ps and extra controller. Received order number and £10 taken but have had no other response from EE! Spoke to online chat yesterday morning who told me they were just waiting to allocate my order, hoping this will be soon! 

@Charlesp94 yeah I'm the same, I had an email saying its out of stock but they took the £10 and its been added to my plan..

 

When I spoke to customer service they said I'd get it at some point but it would be after the 15th and they can't guarantee when... 

Good to see I'm not alone! 

 

Had mixed results with like chat, one guy on Tuesday said it would be delivered in 24/48 hours, then another guy said no stock but should be with me in 14 days. Think we should be good for the 15th though

I received my ps5 and extra controller this morning just before 8am. It's a beast of a unit. Good luck guys, i hope it comes soon for you. Merry Christmas 🎅 

@Charlesp94 i am in the same boat- even rang DS again today - they said still should receive console before 15th

all this unsureness is a right pain-

 

i respect the patience of all the people who ordered on the 19th and i understand there pain due to the wait and it looks like they are finally getting there PS5's

 

i ordered by chance on the 3rd  at 8.15 am after having so many bad experiences with other stores cancelling my orders after taking payment - even now still stressing as people who ordered clearly after me on the 3rd have already received there bundles

 

Fingers crossed i get the ps5 added to plan text and dpd tracking number

well worth the wait. The ps+ pass is hanging behind the delivery docket so be careful when you get it it’s hiding! 

 

It’s been emotional. Merry Christmas guys! Will miss the post in a sad way 😂

Someone else has just contacted me and just said everyone with an order number will get console from the 19th and 3rd. Not sure what to believe now? 🤷🏻‍♂️ 

has anyone from 3rd got tracking for the ps+ bundle yet? 

I'm a ps+ bundle from the 19th, received an email from DPD yesterday saying it'll be delivered today and the app said awaiting parcel.

 

It's now updated to 

 

"We've received your order details but have not yet received your parcel"

 

So I'm losing hope of it being delivered today.

 

The saga continues.
