Free Xbox gamepass ultimate

Hey,

So this has gone a bit beyond a joke now, i received a 24 month box gamepass ultimate addon onto my account with the purchase of the meta quest 3 through my mobile bill. The gamepass itself was a nightmare to add to my account in the first place but when it was finally added the following month i was charged for it, i phoned and was told the subscription was removed and a free one added and was credited the amount back to my account... all good... no. The following month i was charged again and so once again i phoned and was told a free one was added and was credited and once again i was then charged. After phoning this last time i was credited the amount paid again and was told a free one was added but this time the whole thing has been removed completely and now it will expire through my Microsoft account in three days.

At this point i have no idea what to do with it, do i really have to phone every month to be told its sorted when it isn't? It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't hoops to jump through to actually speak to a human being but this has just become a joke now, why even offer things if they aren't correctly implemented within your systems?

I am having the same problem, nearly 3 months ago EE removed the free Xbox game pass in error. They haven't been able to add it back on and have blamed Microsoft. They blame EE. They refused to cover the cost advising that the plan includes it free, the plan costs more so your not getting it free it's part of the service.

 

Advised to seek support via ombudsman but quoted it's a technical issue and these things take months to resolve. Promised it be resolved by 5th Dec it's now the 11th and still not resolved 

Yeah, another month and another bill with the cost on there haha, i guess ill be having to phone once again for a refund and then for them to remove and re add then charge me again..... suppose it still ends up being free but having to do this for the next two years is going to get really old really quick.

Whats worse is they tell you on the phone its resolved and it wont happen again blah blah just for it to be removed from your account abruptly or to just charge you for it instead.

I was contacted by the head office, they had complaints about credits being applied to the account and that I must go to the ombudsman. Thankfully the game pass has now worked today after totally removing it from the system and adding it back on.

They phoned me said sorry but offered no compensation for the time etc. they are a joke
