I have switched off the ‘auto renew’. Does this mean I have cancelled the subscription and will not be charged £12.00 per month, or do I have to physically cancel it. I dread the thought of trying to ring due to previous experiences.

When you say you cancelled the auto renew, was this in your EE account or through your Xbox account?

Through my EE a/c as prompted by the email I received, under manage my gaming tab.

Thanks @Debeps. If you have cancelled the auto renewal, it should automatically stop at the end of the free period.
If you do find that it carries on beyond this, then it would need a call to our customer service guides so they can remove it for you.
