I just recently purchased the PS5 deal which includes 24 months of PS plus premium membership and the £70 EE game card but I haven’t been sent anything regarding the game card at all. I’ve tried contacting someone and all I’ve been told by EE over the phone is that it’s dealt with PlayStation direct which seems incorrect. Has anyone had any issues in receiving their game card from EE?

I'm sorry to hear you've not received your game card with your PS5, and you've been left confused after speaking with our team. I'd recommend giving us another call, and we will be able to get this looked into for you.

i eventually got through to someone on 150 who knew what I was talking about.
It turns out the link I clicked which advertised the PS5 slim with £70 EE GameCard went through to just the PS5 Slim no GameCard added. Both same price upfront and monthly cost.
it seems absolutely terrible for that to be the case. I argued could they not add a game card seeing as it’s the same price and was told no. I would have to send back the PS5 with insurance at the post office (at my expense) and then reorder one with the game card. Seems a very backwards, long winded, expensive and eco-unfriendly way.
Gutted EE can’t do the ethical thing and send a game card out instead of making me go through this rigamarole.
