my upgrade is due today but it just says manage on my work portal usually it will say upgrade. what will happen if i put an order in, will my existing contract cancel and the new one start

Welcome to the community.
Have you checked in both the app and on your EE Online account. When you're upgrading, it should say at the top (and in the basket) 'upgrading [your number]'.
