Why is the EE site SO undeservedly bad?!

Seriously, this website is one of the worst I've ever seen, especially for a company that brags so much about it's awards won, and even more so when almost EVERYTHING says to "do this online" - WE CAN'T!!!!!!

I don't think I've ever seen a website that logs you out with every single click, and then spurts a load of gibberish about how they're number one. You're not, you just make the most sales, but your website and customer service leave a LOT to be desired.

Oh and the bloody app, wow! Talk about false advertisement! I got a notification to add "the brand new Apple Airpods" to my plan, did that and then arrived the previous years model turns up. Have you ever tried to return an item to EE because OH MY GOD is it an effing joke!! I still don't know if the returns are open as I've had NO comms. No email, no text, NOTHING.

EE, this is embarassing. DO BETTER!

I shouldn't have to, you're a communication company and you're bloody app and website should work

Which part of the website do you get the errors? Is this when you are logged into your My EE account and looking to upgrade?

Absolutely rubbish website and App. Slow, laggy, hard to navigate. The previous comments are spot on, struggling with this system makes me want to leave. All I wanted to do today was set up a direct debit, you would think they would want to make that easy to do!! It's not, Website and App kept kicking me off. Finally got to the page, filled out the form, clicked save and got kicked out again. Pathetic. They keep patting themselves on the back about being no 1.  They are not, they are complacent.

Have you tried another web browser?

Thank you for your reply. I don't think it's a Web browser problem as I have the same issues with the app? The app and website are really slow, even the first bit as you login to the app is so slow. Really strange as EE are one of the biggest hi tech mobile phone company's. I can see from the comments on the forums that I'm not the only one having these problems, these messages are from 2022, so nothing has been done since then. It's frustrating, I had similar problems when I was in Italy last week trying to get roaming working on the app. I had to give up. I think the app and website need to be updated.

The website and app have been updated very recently, @davbrown1962. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some problems. Trying a different browser and a different device would let us know where the problem may be lying.

Just spent hours trying to gift data to my mum on the joke of an app, tried for half an hour using my pc no joy. Why is their website and app so slow?. The amount of time it takes to complete a simple task is really frustrating. I've got a suggestion, just re do the whole thing from scratch.

I agree! Just spent 30  minutes looking for my PUK code and only managed to find it because someone posted a direct link on a forum.
The page simply cannot be navigated to via the My EE website.

It's a disgrace! FIX THIS ASAP EE!

I 'm seriously considering changing provider as this is just bollocks. Not to mention the general bad signal and reception I have.
Worst mobile carrier in the UK!

For the signal problem, have you checked the status of your postcode on our coverage checker? If you select 'check status' this will let you know if we're aware of any problems in your area. 

If nothing is showing you can report the problems you are having to get this looked into.
