Where to add PAYG to my account?

mountainous

I'm monumentally confused and I've searched the forums.

I have a PAYG SIM in my phone. I've created a blank EE account on the website.

Where is the option to add the PAYG number to the account so I can manage it online and top it up without doing anonymous top-ups?

Older forum posts say there's an "Account settings" option somewhere once logged in, but I can't find it. And if I use the Manage option (3x3 grid icon top right) and go to Plans & Subscriptions, it just gives me an error.

Thanks 🙏

Thanks @mountainous

I just wanted to check with it referring you to the website.

If the option to link the number isn't working, I'd recommend speaking to our customer service guides so they can access your account and help to get it linked.

In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > Manage numbers > Add another number > Link EE mobile or SIM.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

When I go to Plans & Subscriptions I get this, have had it all day:

Hi @mountainous

Did you see this error through the EE app or were you already on the website?

Michael

Hi Michael, only on the website. I haven't used the app at all.

Thanks. It's now sorted with customer service.

The issue was that the new PAYG SIM didn't have customer details yet, so I had to provide those before the SIM could be added to an EE website account.

The website really ought to facilitate this.
