@Martint12345   Is it safe search or content lock ? Safe search is a Google option and content lock is EE.    You can still have safe search even with content lock off.   You need to sign in to Google to have safe search permanently off you can switch it off each time you use Google.  

1. Log into your Google Account.
2. Go to the Google homepage.
3. Click Settings at the bottom right of your screen.
4. Untick the box next to Turn on SafeSearch
