I have found posts with similar problems but the solutions don’t work for me. I have got a new phone with a new contact with a different provider, so need to cancel my current (expired) contract.
When I log in to my EE I can’t do anything, as I’m not the “account holder”. So I asked the person who pays my phone bill to log in to see if they can cancel the contract, but they aren’t the account holder either!
Other solutions have said to change the roles on the account, but “account holder” isn’t an option for either of us. It’s really confusing that someone can have the authority to pay EE, but not to cancel the contract.
Any ideas? I’ve messaged on Twitter but no response yet. Hoping it isn’t going to have to be a phone call as I have quite bad anxiety with phone calls. I just want to cancel the contract, and get my EE number on my new phone

Welcome to the community.
The 'Bill Payer' option in your My EE account is full account holder access and should be able to do anything on there. The person whose name shows on the bill is the EE account holder, so their number should be set up as the Bill Payer.
Hope this helps.
