When I am on the EE Community and use the My EE hyperlink "header" (https://id.ee.co.uk/id/login), another webpage generates, on this webpage, it says "! We're unable to retrieve your account details right now log out and then log in again." The web address contains text in the web address "error=person-identity-failed"

Not sure if anyone else has seen this before?

Hi there @354-

Thanks for sharing 🙂

Could you try logging out and logging back in again, do you get the same message?

Do you use the same email for the community as your EE account?

Are you able to log into your EE account in a new web browser?

Leanne.

@Leanne_T -

a.) Yes, I get the same issue when I log out and in again. (Using latest version of Chrome) (This issue seems to have occurred when I signed up for the recent rolled out  2FA security option, located in the my EE web profile; not sure if this is coincidence, or maybe some thing is really wrong with this PAYG account overall)

b.)Yes(When I signed up for the community a while ago, some moderator - changed the username that I chose initially)

c.) Yes; just tested with Edge; able to log in to MyEE web.

When I'm in the Community & I click that MyEE at top L I get presented with a login screen. Is that where you get the error msg instead?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@XRaySpeX - I get the login prompt to fill out login details again, reinput the login credentials.  After, it does its authentication thing, the returned webpage outputs the information about "! We're unable to retrieve your account details right now log out and then log in again."

Try to use the back button gives various odd error messages;

BadRequestBadRequest

Also after trying to use the back button after the bad request;

 {
                "code" : "01",
                "message" : "Internal error"
            }
