Is there any way you can have multiple logins to the EE app so both myself and my wife can have a login on our respective phones? I've tried to create another login but when I tried to link to my products, it told me that if I made the link, my other account would be deleted.
The problem here is the two factor authentication. As the account is in my name it means any PINs go to my email and my phone. It means if we are not together and she needs to log into the app then she cannot as the codes comes to my phone.
It would be okay if the app just relied on the phone's Face ID but it seems to periodically log out and you have to log back in using the EE ID again and she is then locked out if I am not available to tell her what code was sent!
The main reason for her having the app on her phone is so she can access the broadband parental controls. We were previously on Vodafone and their 'SecureNet' product (which is how parental controls were used) allowed you to add additional admins to the service so others could access it. I appreciate it was easier there as it was a separate app.
Just wondered if there was a way to allow multiple accounts, or even just an additional account for parental control.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

No @jprey please don’t give up. You have a legitimate question, which is something I was going to ask next myself… Basically, if functionality isn’t available, how do we request it? Otherwise without any user voice from its customers EE will have no idea how to develop its products which when it comes to parental control is really important. If they haven’t got such a feedback mechanism, it flies in the face of all their marketing around protecting children which brought me to them in the first place.
@XRaySpeX - with all due respect if you can’t actually answer questions in the thread properly, please don’t contribute as it adds no value. Thank you kindly.
