Please be aware that the My EE app and website are not functioning correctly for PAYG SIMs at the moment and haven't been for several days.

Try texting "AL" (without the quotes) to 150. It should return your current allowance and what you have left. That still seems to be working for most people, although I get totally fanciful figures back for one line of mine.

If you are not getting the correct information when you text AL to 150, please call us on 150 to get this looked into.

Thanks @Leanne_T but there's no point in doing that while the back-end that provides the relevant information is fubared. Once that is working again (it's been b0rked for 4 days and counting), I'll get in touch if I still get nonsense results back by text.
