Disgraceful that EE still can't be bothered to accept support requests via email, a support portal, or even an embedded chat app.

I have found, though, that contact is possible via the smartphone application, for those able to use it. It uses a fairly dumb chatbot plugin, but by selecting several times that you need more help, you eventually get the option to "Speak to an EE guide".
Following this, a painfully slow process ensues but there is an actual human on the other end (albeit clearly following a script very closely).
